Venice, Italy

Day 14

Venice was an overnight stop! We took a water taxi from the port to the city of Venice, where we did a walking tour. Fun fact, there are no cars in Venice (obviously) and bikes are illegal except for children. Venice is basically a bunch of little islands connected by bridges. For these landscape pics, I didn't bother editing them because there was just so many and honestly, look how pretty they are already. No filter needed.

We toured the Palazzo Ducale and St. Mark's Basilica.

We also visited a Muji store and bought a bunch of pens!! For double the price than in Asia, but I was still excited nevertheless. Of course, when in Italy you have to eat pasta and gelato. We ordered prosciutto pizza, lasagna, and nutella and mango gelato. On the way back to the port, we rode their skytrain, which is literally called "People Mover".  To finish our last night on the ship, we watched Just Go With It and Crazy, Stupid Love.

Round #2 of midterms and projects are coming up! Ahh I'm gonna die. >_< The thought of Christmas break is the only thing keeping me going right now.

Have a great day! Well, night for me.

x
Melissa
