Empties Review

Not gonna lie, my bathroom counter is currently covered with skincare products, so I'm trying to go through as many as I can and stopping myself from buying any more LOL. Scroll on for a review of what I've finished!

Huxley Cleansing Water

I paid $42~ for this at Nordstrom when they had their kbeauty pop up and this disappointed me. Definitely not worth the money. I must've disliked it because of the alcohol content. It felt too drying for my face so I just used it to remove my eye makeup, which thankfully didn't sting. I wouldn't recommend this for sensitive skin.

Son & Park Beauty Water

After waiting for months in the mail from Amazon, I finally got my hands on this beauty water which not only acts as a cleansing water and toner, but also exfoliates and has brightening properties. This product has been hyped up and going viral for a long time and I can see why! Meejmuse noted that it contains alcohol but it's one of the last ingredients and I didn't even notice until she said so. I love the light, fresh scent and this is also gentle enough to remove eye makeup. Now I'm interested in trying their beauty gel too.

Klairs Supple Preparation Facial Toner

If you read my blog, you've seen me mention this toner before. It's super soothing and moisturizing! I love how multipurpose it is too. Soak a cotton pad with it and leave it on your cheeks for a brightening effect. I bought this in bulk so I'm on my second bottle now and still got a third one to go HAHA.

Nature Republic Lotus Ampoule

I really enjoy these dropper type of products. It just feels more luxurious in a way. There are other types of ampoules in this line but I chose the lotus one since it's supposed to brighten your skin. I'm not quite sure if it did anything noticeable but I did like the texture and the moisture it gave. Next I'll try the honey one! (This is half the price in Korea though T____T)

Cosrx Snail Essence

For the longest time I was too scared to use this product because of the snail slime extract but once I got over it, I fell in love with it! Just don't think about it and use it lol. The texture is pretty gooey but it's good before makeup application to make sure your makeup really sticks to your skin. My only complaint is that I ran out of this so fast. I just ordered another one because I can't live without it LOL.

Shiseido Ibuki Refining Moisturizer

I've been through so many bottles of this that I've lost track of how many I've bought. This is one of my top favourite moisturizers! If you suffer from dry skin, get this ASAP. Surprisingly, I didn't see this on my trip to Japan though.

Nature Republic Aqua Deodorant

Never thought I'd be talking about deodorant on this blog, but why not? This is for sure the best one I've ever tried!! I've been preferring spray deodorants a lot more than sticks because after shaving, your armpits can be a little sensitive. This provides a great cooling effect and actually smells heavenly! It's got Egyptian cotton powder but will never leave that white cast that some deodorants do. So glad they came out with a mini version of this too so I was able to bring this on my trip.

Can you believe it's September already?? Summer flew by so fast.
School starts next week 😩 but looking forward to meeting new people!
Hope you enjoy the last few days of Summer!
