Guess what came in the mail today!! I feel like my blog has become nothing but haul posts lately lol but like I said, I've been going crazy with the online shopping these days. I made a Wishtrend order a couple weeks ago around Christmas but when I realized the free shipping would take a month to arrive, I couldn't wait and made a second order this time with other things I wanted to try but paid for express shipping this time. So, this will be part one of my haul! As usual, all products will be linked in their titles.
Klairs Supple Preparation Facial Toner
The reason why I got two is because it came as a set with two packs of the Klairs Toner Mate 2 in 1 Cotton Pads. Basically a free gift (but if you want to see it alone I linked the individual bottle in the product title)! I love how if you buy in bulk it becomes cheaper and that this set was perfect because I almost bought them separately. It's as if Wishtrend knows what combo people want.
Obviously I wouldn't buy so many if I wasn't sure of how it would react to my skin. Luckily, my sis had a bottle that she bought from Amazon so I tried some of hers. Like the product claims, it is definitely suitable for sensitive skin and it is very gentle! I put a couple drops on the back of my hand too and although my hands are usually very soft anyways, this made it feel even softer. Furthermore, I love how this product is multipurpose! You can find 5 ways to use this toner here. As I type this, I'm doing the DIY sheet mask using the toner and cotton pads.
So yes, this product is definitely worth the hype! It's hydrating, gentle, and soothing, which is what I need since my face has become so red these days. I 100% recommend this to you guys!
Klairs Toner Mate 2 in 1 Cotton Pads
I was never really into using cotton pads because I believed they would just be a waste of product. However, they naturally exfoliate the skin and get rid of any leftover makeup. Plus I've been wanting to try the DIY sheet mask with cotton pads since I always have so much leftover essence from my sheet masks. Unfortunately I've been unable to find cotton pads that are thin enough to do so, until now. Usually companies try to make them thick since they're marketed towards the use of makeup removal but I just use coconut oil instead. Btw I just used this with the Klairs toner to wipe my face and found so much dust that was just sitting on my face!! So crazy.
This product is great because the squares are huge and just the right amount of thickness. Also, they're made to spit more of the product back out so there's less wastage! There are 2 different types; one compressed and one sponge. The compressed one is good for using your toner to wipe or dab and add moisture or a beauty water to clean makeup. The sponge one is perfect for those DIY sheet masks! The packaging of these boxes are convenient because it's actually in a box so it won't wreck the shape of the cotton pads and you can tuck in the tab once you open it. Klairs Rich Moist Soothing Serum
This actually came as a set as well with the Klairs Rich Moist Soothing Cream! I've only been using essences these days so I thought I'd try a serum because I feel like my skin really needs that extra nourishment. This serum feels nothing like I've ever felt before! For a first impression it's definitely hydrating 👍🏻 I'll update you guys as I use this more!
Klairs Rich Moist Soothing Cream
My skin has been getting so dry this winter so I've been looking for a moisturizer that would be hydrating enough. Hopefully this does the trick! Klairs repackaged their Rich Moist Soothing Serum, Cream, and sheet masks. I'm all for the change since I love the blue hues! The cream used to be in a jar but now it's in a squeeze tube which is great as it's more hygienic and definitely travel friendly. I wish all my moisturizers were like this!
I forgot to mention the free samples!! So glad that they included all these because I've been wanting to try out their midnight blue calming cream. Apparently it's good for soothing pimples! The other ones are great to take when I'm travelling too.
And that's all of my Wishtrend haul...for now. The first package I ordered is expected to arrive around the end of this month so I'll make another post then! But for this one it only took 4 days for this package to arrive!!! Lesson learned, the express shipping is worth it. The cons about this site is that it's only in USD, which kills us Canadians with the conversion rate. If they converted it from KRW to CAD it'd be a lot cheaper. Also, you can't use voucher codes on promotional items, and almost everything is a promotional item there, including the sets. This makes the couponer in me sad T__T. I bought another set of cotton pads alone just to use a voucher code! But that did make it to $1.50USD which isn't bad at all. However, if you don't mind waiting for your packages, this is a great site since they do have sooo many sets where you can get a discount! There are also products where you automatically get free shipping on and don't have to pay the min $69USD for free shipping. Their YouTube channel always sucks me in to buy their products but now after actually trying some of them, they are definitely worth they hype and I can see how people rave about them so much.
Don't forget to use my invitation code "2114815012" when you register at Wishtrend to get $5USD off! After you make an account, go to "My Account" --> "Additional Information", and then enter the code at the bottom!
